​The West Turkana Paleo Project non-profit corporation is an international effort managed through the National Museums of Kenya.  We conduct paleontological research west of Lake Turkana in Kenya, studying the evolution of humans and their environments.  A major focus of our project also involves improving the lives of local people and their communities throughout Turkana.
